And now, for the noble, dignified, and mysterious High Priest

Most traditional decks call this card the Hirophant, but I thought the High Priest was a more understandable term. For Wejee's Eclectic Tarot, I chose the leopard clad priest of ancient Egypt.
"Every discipline includes the few who comprehend the Truth, and the many who aspire, and never will. The High Priest recognizes you as one of the few with an inner knowledge above and beyond books, as one who has delved beyond words and into the heart of the Truth. In ancient times, the high priests were the healers, astronomers, architects and technical innovators for their cultures- our High Priest is clothed in the leopard skin of ancient Egypt. In this technological age, the High Priest represents those who have a dedicated expertise in their chosen field. You speak intelligently from direct experience; you regularly make contact with the world of Spirit to gain higher knowledge, for the benefit of your culture."

"At the foot of the Emperor’s lofty mountain, the Fool finds shelter in the Temple of the High Priest. The High Priest carries with him the staff and scepter of reason. The Fool bows and humbly asks, “What have you to teach, Great Master?” The High Priest regards the Fool silently, raises his hand in a sign of benediction, and says, "Do not expect to hear the truth from others, nor to see it or read it in books. Look for the truth in yourself, not without. But you are welcome to stay the Winter, and learn from me the conventions and language of the Mystery.” So the Fool stayed the Winter, serving the Temple of Knowledge. At the first sign of Spring, the Fool continued his journey. "Seek the Path, do not seek attainment”, said the High Priest, “Seek for the Path within yourself.”
