Visit the Emerald Isle this Halloween as we travel from Dublin to Shannon through the mystical heart of Ireland. Join our small group of like minded individuals from October 28th to November 4th 2008. Meet historian Richard Felix from the Travel Channel’s show “Most Haunted” as we tour Charleville and Leap Castles. Stay overnight at Kinnitty Castle for the Samhain Celtic Festival and Haunted Ball. Itinerary
Tuesday, October 28th – Depart Chicago O’Hare (ORD) for Dublin Ireland.
Wednesday, October 29th – Arrive Dublin, collect our transportation and head to Dublin City Centre. Take the Dublin Hop on Hop off Bus Tour. It stops at over 15 sites of interest in the city, allowing you to plan what you might want to see while in Dublin. Time permitting, perhaps a visit St. Michen’s Church for an unusual tour.
Thursday, October 30th – Following a Traditional Irish Breakfast we’ll head to the hills north of Dublin near Drogheda for a tour of Newgrange and Knowth, a Neolithic passage tomb dating from 3000 BC. Join us for an evening with fellow traveler Cindi Muntz, as we discuss:

Friday, October 31st – Depart Dublin for Kildare and Brigid’s Well. Then onto the mystical triangle at the heart of Ireland. Arrive Kinnitty Castle for Most Haunted Samhain Celebration. Enjoy a reception (drinks included) at 7pm with your host Sean Ryan, owner of Leap Castle, one of the Most Haunted places in Ireland. Sean is a well known “Trad” Musician in Ireland.
Then attend “The Most Haunted Halloween Ball” that begins at 8pm. This includes a banquet dinner. For those of you that are accustomed to Renaissance Faire period costuming, by all means do bring it. Costume is highly recommended!
Saturday, November 1st - Start the day with a full Irish Breakfast
Tour Charleville Castle and Leap Castle
Return to Kinnitty for Dinner, followed with an evening of Traditional Irish music in the Dungeon Bar and hear stories at the Stone Fire Circle with Richard Felix, historian of the Travel Channels popular show, “Most Haunted”.
Sunday, November 2nd – Head towards Killarney to meet our local guide for the Ring of Kerry, Jackie Corcoran.
An evening of Tarot Reading with Rebecca Sommers-Giek
Monday, November 3rd – Tour the Ring of Kerry, Muckross Manor and time permitting, the Dingle Peninsula and Inch Beach.
