Hello. MM I just wanted to say what a teriffic article I think this is. It was interesting that you mentioned “laying on of hands”. In the religion that I attended as a child only men could do it and I remember thinking, even at a young age, that that really wasn’t fair or reasonable. It bothered me for years growing up and I finally stopped attending church altogether. I always felt that I was here to help people. I was always the shoulder to cry on and people in emotional distress seemed to seek me out for some conversation, a hug or a cup of tea and they always left seemingly feeling better. I am a big fan of herbs which I use to cook and in salves and bathing. It just seems right. As for the laying on of hands I do it for my daugher when she gets boo boos and it seems to work although that might just be mommy magik =-) I am hoping to gain more herbal skills and find a mentor for energy healing…
Thank you so much for sharing who you are. I feel inspired by your story. You are a bright light in what on occasion seems to be a dimly lit space.

I was involved the other way around; I was married to a witch who’d made some mistakes that had back-fired on her inevitably. I didn’t know anything about witchcraft at the time, but I felt that what had come back round was as a result of her messing around in the wrong things in the wrong way.
Now I know she shouldn’t have done what she did in the way she did, and why it all went wrong for her.
I’m trying to say that a partner on a different stage of their journey can still discern what is what, if they have the capacity.
My path turned and, whilst I can’t help her much, I’d say it taught me to respect the powers that exist in the universe

thank you so much for this post,everything you speak about is spot on with me,i did things when i was younger and never full understood…but through my growing years,thinking back i now understand….it was my inner witch that was controling the outer me…i have very vivid dreams also and visions that are becoming stronger…because like you i never thought i needed to charge my self,i seemed like a battery…but when you start helping others…we need to take that time to full charge and cleanse ourselfs,that way we grow more too…blessed be jj x

Merry Meet, I love this article, I’m going through some similar things right now. I am a witch trying to find her way. I just recently got married and my husband doesn’t believe in my beliefs. Which I’m fine with. He calls it my voodo. But lately he has made some postive comments toward my workings. So its good to know I’m not the only one out there going through this.
