Lynsusun,
what a beautiful, insightful article. I had a radical hysterectomy in 2006, and I still have hot flashes. I also have fibromyalgia, so that might have something to do with them, but you gave me a lot to think about in regards to my diet and health.
My daughter and I eat a diet of mostly fruits and veggies, all organic, and organic, range free meats. We eat a lot of nuts, and also take an herbal smoothie in the morning with Western Botanical herbal tinctures in it, flax seed oil, and protein powder. I have read conflicting articles about meat, and began eating it again about twelve years ago after being a veggie for most of my life.
Now 50, do you think I should give it up again, or trust my instincts and eat a little? Just curious, and want to use all the info I can find to make these sorts of decisions. Thanks for your articles, they are wonderful. Blessed Be!
