Thank you very much Jenny. Your words are welcomed and appreciated. :) Grinning from ear to ear now, I gots me a fan. wait until next month, I'm working on a big topic. It's going to involve a lot of research so I need to get working on it.
I think it's great that even as an experienced investigator you're open to reading and learning different views, opinions, and techniques. I think that there is a lot the paranormal community can learn from each other and if we all shared our data we might find some patterns that can work toward proving or disproving phenomena.
Oh, and trust me, I felt like a dork when I realized it was my camera strap in the photo as I was acting like Mr. Big Shot when I snapped that pic. Woops.
I have a feeling that "chimping" is gonna catch on. We'll see if it makes it on to ghost Hunters or Ghost Lab ;-P

Great article! I have been an investigator for years now, and still enjoy reading everything on the subject. And I do love that word 'chimping', it's great ;)

I have caught many strange things on photographs myself, and I completely understand being skeptical and not necessarily trying to debunk everything, but to keep a seasoned eye out and make sure that it is not something as simple as a camera strap, etc.

Once again, very well written article. I look forward to seeing more of your thoughts on the subject.

Thanks. I am not one who will immediately say everything is the result of a ghost so I try to be as skeptical and impartial as I can be, which as a firm believer in paranormal phenomena gets difficult at times. I've seen too many things to NOT be a believer but I have to look at what IS not at what I WANT there to be. And, yes, chimping is my new favorite word! :D

A very nice article that takes an honest skeptical approach... And only Paul could come up with such a great verb as 'chimping.' priceless! :)

Thank you Natausha. Your support means a lot. While I don't ever want to be one who "dummies down" a subject, as i find that insulting, I do realize that not everyone has a clear understanding of many concepts that i will be discussing in this column so I try to keep it casual.
As for the article itself, does anyone else think the plasma light I took kind of looks like a hangman's noose? Maybe I'm just weird....

This article was extremely well written for us who have little or limited understanding of what some of these anomalies really are. I think Mr.Baldassarro has given all of us a greater look into what paranormal research is really about, and I personally come away from this feeling like I have learned from this. I will continue to follow this writer and look forward to the next article.
