Card #2, CURRENT: EIGHT OF COINS: You are doing what you need to do.  You are showing your abilities and are able to do your craft.  However you feel that others are trying to hold you back.  They have their own agenda, needs and wants and they expect you to stop doing what you need to do to attend to them.  They want your time and your money to be committed to them and their wants and needs, not yours.  You need to stay focused on the right path for you, not them.

Card #3, NEAR FUTURE: THE CHARIOT: You are caring and tend to nurture others, you tend to sacrifice your time end energy on getting others to where they need or want to.  You need to concentrate on your objectives, don’t get sidetracked.  It is going to be difficult because you will be fighting your own nature.  This is what you need to do for you, you cannot keep living through other people’s accomplishments; you need to put the time and energy into yourself.  Don’t let people drag you down the path they want to go, keep control and steer yourself down the path you know you need to go.
Card #4, TYING IN CARDS 1 AND 2: KING OF COINS: This card talks about a man at the top of his trade or profession.  This is your solution out of a difficult, negative situation: to become the best at what you love to do.  The money or title is not what is important but that you get to do what you love and be successful at it.  This is what you are working toward.  Other people want you to go where the money is, but that is not what you need to do.

Card #5, TYING IN CARDS 2 AND 3: SIX OF CUPS: This card is about learning about living in harmony with those around you.  Basically you know what you need to do for yourself.  You need to still deal with others in your life.  This is a change for them, you worrying about yourself and your needs and doing something about it instead of always being there for them.  It is hard for them to accept you putting yourself first, and they are trying to deal with it.  It is not going to be easy on you, they are going to push it and constantly try to get you to go back to the old you, the one that gave up everything for others.  You need to find a way to keep the harmony without sacrificing your needs for theirs.  It is going to take some real tuff love on your part to keep saying NO, but it is what you need to do for yourself and for them.  They are never going to be able to deal with things if you keep doing for them, and taking care of them and not yourself.  They also have to see that you value yourself so they can learn to value you and themselves.

Card #6, FINAL CARD: SEVEN OF WANDS: You need to deal with things now, not later. Cut down your problems one by one.  Don’t let them build up, and thereby overwhelm you.  Problems are not going to go away just because you want them to; you need to deal with it.  People have been using you for some time now, and you let them.  That has to change.  You have valued others needs and wants before your own.  That has to change.  You have taught people how to treat you, now you have to teach them a new way to treat you, with more respect and value.  Don’t avoid dealing with things to avoid conflict.  The longer you let things go the more conflict there will be, nip this in the bud now.  People are not going to change how they treat you until you make them, and that is the first “problem” you need to deal with.

February is going to be a time of struggle and change for you and those in your life.  You are changing how you expect people to treat you, and how you treat yourself.  That is going to take a lot of work and commitment.  Talk about tough love.  You need to have tough love for those in your life, but more importantly for yourself.  Stop trying to fulfill your emotional and other needs by helping others reach theirs.  This has not been working for you.  You have been in a negative place in your life and you know this is what you have to do to get out of it.  You need to use your abilities and talent for yourself, not everyone else.  Don’t let people use you and sidetrack you from what you need to be doing for yourself.  You will need to find some type of harmony as you make these changes by dealing with issues and problems right away, not avoiding them.  Put yourself first, your needs and goals and expect others to do the same for themselves.  It is not your responsibility to do it for them, but it is for you to do it for yourself.

Card #1, RECENT PAST: FOUR OF COINS: You are in need of money and time.  You are looking around for ways to get more money.  You are trying to see if there is any options open to you that you have not already tried or tapped out.  It is not a matter of not wanting to work for money, you are quite willing to do that, but more that you don’t have the time to work more then you already are and still have a life.  At this point in time you are willing to do what you need to so that you can get the money you need to survive.

Card #2, CURRENT: JUSTICE: THE DEVIL REVERSED: Right now you are unable to see solutions even when they are right in front of you.  There is a lack of vision and blocked sexual energy.  In other words you are dealing with to much and have become overwhelmed and just cannot seem to deal with things or at least see things clearly.  Everything just keeps pilling up on you and you don’t have a clue where to start or even how to start to fix things.

Card #3, NEAR FUTURE: TWO OF CUPS: You need change; you are stressed out as it is.  You are about to enter a new relationship or a new phase in an existing relationship.  This is partly caused by the stress you are under and the need you have for emotional and financial support.  The relationships you are in, be they romantic or friendships are all going to be affected by your needs.  You will rely more on the people in your life just to get through the days to come.  The good things is that emotionally you are covered, you have great people who are willing and able to be there for you and fulfill your emotional needs.  You are a good friend to them as well, understanding and supportive.

Card #4, TYING IN CARDS 1 AND 2: KNIGHT OF COINS: This card is all about a man who wants to develop the work side of his life.  That is one solution, a better job for yourself or someone in your life.  What I see though is a young male who is willing to be supportive, and although they feel protective they are not controlling about it.  It is more of a caring and supportive relationship.  I see him caring for his young, that’s what is important to him.  This could be you or someone in your life.  What I am seeing the strongest is the need to be able to protect and care for, both financially and emotionally for his child.

Card #5, TYING IN CARDS 2 AND 3: NINE OF CUPS REVERSED: Unfortunately this month is going to be anything but a celebration.  It is going to be emotionally draining.  This is being caused because you are so overwhelmed with everything and you are just not thinking straight.

Card #6, FINAL CARD: THREE OF WANDS: The good thing is that you are going to figure things out, and will start doing instead of thinking about it.  You will be leading others by example, in that your solution is going to inspire them to keep on trying and to find a way out of their financial and emotional problems.

January is not going to be a fun time for you.  There is going to be a lot of demands on you both financially and emotionally.  You will be stressed for time and money.  You are going to find that this affects your emotional relationships for good and bad.  It is going to take everything you have within yourself to find a solution.  The good part though is that you will find a way through hard work, and it will help guild others to their solutions.

Card #2, CURRENT: JUSTICE: You have accepted that there are things you cannot control or change, and this has given you a new sense of balance and harmony.  The ability to balance your needs and wants with what you can and cannot control is giving you that sense of control you needed so that you could accept and work with the things you cannot control.  Just in time to deal with the stress involved with the holidays, there are more things and people we cannot control in our lives around this time of the year then ever.

Card #3, NEAR FUTURE: TEN OF CUPS: This is all about emotional commitments.  Doing what you can to make the people in your life happy and fulfilled and at the same time finding some happiness and fulfillment for yourself.  You are determined to make the best of things no matter what life (and the people in your life) through at you.

Card #4, TYING IN CARDS 1 AND 2: KING OF COINS Reversed: You are doing what you have to do to survive.  You are working for a paycheck, nothing more.  You don’t enjoy your job or jobs but it is what you need to do.  Being the best, or being respected because of your job title or paycheck is not what is important, being able to pay the bills, keep a roof over your head and food on the table is.  Take great pried in that you are doing what you have to so you can provide for yourself and your family.  That is more important then any job title.

Card #5, TYING IN CARDS 2 AND 3: TEN OF WANDS: Don’t carry everyone else’s burdens.  You have enough on your plate dealing with your own life; don’t let others put you in a place of responsibility for their problems.  You are just getting your life back on track, have things in balance.  Taking on someone else’s problems or burdens is going to destroy the balance and harmony you have worked so hard to achieve.  You have a commitment to yourself and your family, and it does not include other people’s issues.  You have enough to deal with so you are unable to take on other peoples “crap” no matter how much they pull on your hart strings.  Time to be tough; even though it is the season to help out others, you need to take care of you and yours first.

Card #6, FINAL CARD: KING OF CUPS Reversed: Right now even though you are an emotionally mature man, capable of giving and receiving love you need to deal with your own life and problems not other peoples.  You have to protect yourself emotionally.  This month is going to be very difficult emotionally for you.  You are going to feel drained all the time and wish you could go off by yourself and maybe scream at the moon (or in a pillow at least).  You are dealing with a lot of emotions and may have to shut down emotionally for a bit.  You may even feel numb or uncaring about other people’s issues, and that is ok because right now you need to take care of yourself and your family.

A lot of harsh things have happened in the last few weeks and you are doing your best to pull through this whole thing.  You need to deal with what is important for you and your family, the people you are actually responsible for, who depend on you.  You cannot add any more to the mix right now, and it may seem cold or uncaring at this time of the year but so what.  Putting food on the table, and something under the tree is what is driving you this month, you will have time for other niceties later when things become more stable and less stressful.
