Hi, my name is Faith C-Smith better known as "Sage" to my friends. I am a hereditary witch coming from a Cherokee heritage. I am also a military wife with a deployed husband and I have 2 daughters, 1 son in law and 1 granddaughter and 2 standard poodles and a Manx cat (who keeps all of us in line).
When I am asked what my background is or how long I have been pagan I have to say as long as I have been able to breathe which at this point has been 54 years. I was raised Christian by my mother all the while my grandmother was teaching me all she knew so that when she passed I would be ready to take over. I am now a Reverend, licensed in a couple of states, the military family is widely spread, and I have also received two High Priestess Ordinations. When at all possible, I work with the military pagans in serving their needs and I work on keeping my finger on the pulse of the action by taking classes of my own and learning new skills or toning up my current ones.
I studied journalism in college and have written several articles, short stories, poetry and have been published. I started out working for my high school year book as the editor and I was hooked for life and since then I have worked for several publications both profit and non-profit as both a contributor and as an Interviewer. I also am the Assistant Editor for PaganPages Ezine. I look forward to any comments you may have or if you have a desire to be interviewed for PaganPages Ezine.
