This book is about the rise and fall of the Knights Templar. A good read. I do feel it dragged out in some parts but I did like it. I found it fascinating to learn so much information about such a secret society. It was interesting how even so long ago, there was corruption, blackmailing, secrecy and power given to people that the more common folk were unaware existed. While reading this, it reminded very much of our government organizations of today, i.e. CIA, FBI and of orders such as the Masons, except for the fact, that those organizations of power still exist today.
