Party Favors<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

For a Samhain event last year, I made party favors, copying an idea I found on Pinterest that came from Mug Pie Studio\u2019s blogspot. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

You will need:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

paper in desired colors (I used purple, white, green and orange.)<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>small plastic bags (I used 3×4-inch craft bags with a ziplock I found on eBay.)<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>chocolate chips <\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>candy corn<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>miniature marshmallows<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>a stapler<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I designed labels, six to a page that was held horizontally – Monster Scabs, Ghost Poop, Witch Warts and Jack O\u2019lantern Teeth – printed, cut and folded them. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Bags were filled about half to two-thirds of the way with the chips, marshmallows, candy corn and cereal \u2013 and sealed. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The directions from Mud Pie Studio suggested that the zipper part of the bags remain at the bottom for easy opening, but I thought it looked neater by stapling the label to hide the zipper end.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Prepare for compliments. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
