Crackling leaves are burning
\nTransformed from life to death
\nThe crow calls out relentlessly
\nTo those unseen and life withers
\nIn the blasting of its issue.<\/p>\n

The Crone\u2019s outstretched hand
\nPulls me tightly to her breast
\nThe air chills at her touch
\nLong icy fingers tapping out
\nThe heart beat of life\u2019s pulse within.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The solemn silence of darkness
\nThe pause of silent breath
\nPower and strength drawn
\nFrom the sinewy strands of time.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Quartered path of gravel and stone
\nFlesh and blood
\nMoonlight and stars
\nThe wellspring of Earth
\nThe light of the cosmos above.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I tremble within Her embrace
\nForm giving way to the formless
\nMind swirling within the waters of insight.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Sight pierces the veil as the
\nRoad is cautiously chosen
\nKnowledge of the unknown
\nBecomes the heat of my desire.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The quickening spark waits in
\nThe blessings of fertile darkness
\nAnd pulls me towards rebirth
\nInto a place of Light.<\/p>\n
