\nI\nlove books where there is a dialogue between two individuals that\nallows for dynamic discourse rather than simply a teaching or\ntheoretical format. Searching for the White Magician is just that. \nIts premise is not new-that of seeking the Higher Self and its\nconnection to the deeper understanding of our resonance with the\nUniverse. But, it bears repeating in all venues, methodology and\npractices to really allow access for everyone. Stefania and Carmen\nexchange ideas and philosophies around this query and within the\npages an unfolding of practical application and understanding is\nrevealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nStefania\nhas a Master\u2019s Degree in Spiritual Psychology, and her level of\ninquiry and overlay of psychological analogy from a spiritually\ninfused scientific perspective offers the reader something to grab on\nto when aspects of intuition and reaching beyond the five senses\narises. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nChapter\ntopics flow from the realization that we are a \u201cGrain\nof Sand\u201d<\/em> in a much larger sandbox\nthat is the Cosmos, to the question of how and if we \u201cCan\n(we) Choose Our Destiny\u201d<\/em>,\n\u201cFeminism and Femininity\u201d<\/em>,\nand more. My favorite was the chapter of discussion around \u201cReligion,\nDogma and Divinity.\u201d <\/em>I appreciated\nthe author\u2019s perspective that they are not mutually synonymous and\nit is our work to sort out what we believe and what we believe in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nThe\nconversation regarding \u201cThe Cycle of Existence\u201d provides enough\nmeat and bones to satisfy the most cynical of inquiry with an opening\nquote of… \u201cLet us learn to add\nlife to our years, not just years to our life.\u201d <\/em>Simply\nheeding this statement opens you up to the possibilities inherent\nwhen you choose to be more present and engaged in the joy and pain of\nyour life. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nIt\nis clear in reading this little book that Stefania has a good grasp\nof Buddhist and traditional Eastern philosophies and although not\nclearly overt in every reading, are the underpinnings of what becomes\nan exploration of what is both philosophical and inherently spiritual\nin nature. The questions are universal, the answers highly individual\nand personalized and the structure and wisdom within this book lead\nthe reader to thinking more broadly, feeling with more awareness and\nbeing more attentive in all aspects of their lives, mundane,\nspiritual and subtle. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nSo\nwho is the White Magician?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
