In many parts of the world, this\nis the time when seeds that have long laid in the deep belly of the\nearth at least start to spring forth with green shoots. Accordingly,\nseeds wind up in Imbolc cakes, the white and new green of the young\nshoots is associated with the Sabbat, and even the name of Imbolc\nmeans \u201cin the belly,\u201d referring to the pregnancy of ewes, and the\nseeds in the earth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nThis year, I\u2019m trying to\nembrace prosperity and grow abundance as my way of celebrating\nImbolc. Like many of us, I carry a bit of debt that I\u2019d love to get\nout of, and I\u2019m trying to manifest some new things this year. In\nthe spirit of the season, I\u2019m not leaving this up to chance. I\u2019m\nplanning out my payments to loans, and I\u2019m ready to make progress\n&#8212; not by winning the lottery, or through some other simply\nimpossible miracle, but through careful budgeting and penny-pinching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paganpages.org\/emagazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Wreathing2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20475\" width=\"542\" height=\"362\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\nWhile the hard numbers and\nactual tracking occur with my bank, I love having a financial tracker\nin my bullet journal, because it makes something of a game out of the\ntruly unpleasant task of being financially responsible. And to remind\nmyself that this is not a question of \u201cwhether\u201d but of \u201cwhen.\u201d\nI\u2019ve designed my financial tracker with the growth factor in mind.\nThis isn\u2019t so much about hard goals as it is about steady progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\"> <strong>Weekly\nTarot Reading<\/strong> \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paganpages.org\/emagazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Wreathing3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20476\" width=\"338\" height=\"506\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Following\nlast month\u2019s year-long Tarot spread, I wanted to discuss how I add\nweekly Tarot readings to my journal. (I\u2019ve covered up the personal\ndetails in my weekly spread, because I do actually use this journal\nto plan my life!) I usually do a month spread, and then have\nsingle-page weekly spreads to plan my tasks each week; since I am\nalso making a practice of a seven-card weekly Tarot reading, I add it\nhere. I like to play around with the themes that I use for my weekly\nspreads (because creativity is fun), so this one is based off of the\nwitch\u2019s ladder, a sort of charm made from a rope with feathers,\nbeads, and other charms woven into it.
