All involve water in some way.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">In Magic Takes Root: The Woodland Realm, Nock writes about nature being a powerful healer and the importance of staying connected to it, saying, \u201cA simple ritual of walking in the woods, meditating outside of a building, or taking part in the currently popular trend of \u2018forest bathing\u2019 can calm the mind and bring about a state of peace.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">She offers a centering meditation done sitting at the base of a tree, and a ritual for creating a personal tree oracle \u2013 not to tell fortunes, but as a tool to \u201ccommunicate with the elements of natural magic.\u201d The ritual, the lore and the charm all work with the sacredness of trees, with reminders of<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> our connectedness to the seasons and rhythms of the Mother, and our responsibility to be stewards of the earth.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Readers will be inspired to draw on the powers found in nature when doing magick, thanks to the variety of meditations, rituals, spells and charms.
