Of Witchcraft and Whimsy: A Beginner’s Guide to Basic Witchcraft<\/a><\/span> is <\/span>a great <\/span>book written by Rose Orriculum. It is tagged as a beginner\u2019s guide to witchcraft, <\/span>h<\/span>owever, after reading it, I feel that anyone could enjoy the contents of this book regardless of where they are on the<\/span>ir<\/span> magical path.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The book begins with a chapter on the \u201cbasics\u201d. This tends to be the run of the mill basics but Rose is honest and open. She makes it a point to let you know that witchcraft is not <\/span>a<\/span> certain way. She makes it feel open and inviting. This would be a great read for someone who is on the fence about joining the magical community.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

One of my favorite chapters is Potions. This chapter is about infusing your <\/span>hot chocolate, <\/span>coffee, <\/span>& <\/span>tea<\/span>s<\/span>. Rose makes magic so simple that you can incorporate <\/span>potions<\/span> into your daily life. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The book goes into detail regarding the seasons and <\/span>how you can celebrate them<\/span>. One of my personal favorites from her collection is <\/span>how you can use<\/span> a<\/span> snowman as a poppet. What a grand idea. Especially since it would allow families to do the act together.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

At the back Of Witchcraft and Whimsy, Rose has included many of her own spells, glamours, bindings and curses.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
