Each book consists of 8 poems that cover a variety of different topics. The books are written by Ariane de Bonvoisin with Carlie Sutcliffe. The<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">y<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"> are beautifully and creatively illustrated by Ellie Cross. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">These books are amazing and now a personal favorite in my home. It features 8 poems on topics of \u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">k<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">indness, <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">g<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">ratitude, having a bad day, home, prayer, planet Earth, self-belief and the physical body\u201d. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">One of my favorite features is that even though Giggles and Joy talks about prayer, it <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">is<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"> in a universal way, that does not align prayer with a certain religion. For a home like mine, where I\u2019m Pagan, my mother is Christian, and my son is undecided, this is a perfect fit. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">Planet Earth is one of my son\u2019s favorites. He loves saying \u201cthank you\u201d to <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">our <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">planet Earth. He also enjoys the illustrations that accompany not only planet Earth but all of the poems in Giggles and Joy. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><b>You Are Loved<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0977680843\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=0977680843&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=paganpages-20&amp;linkId=e255a7b09e7145bb3b340c1deee97875\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">You are Loved: Spiritual Life Lessons for Kids<\/a> is the second book in the Giggles and Joy series. It also features 8 poems. Th<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">ese<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"> poems cover \u201clove, navigating change, this beautiful life, courage, grown-ups, self-confidence, and adventure\u201d. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">Picking a favorite from this series is <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">difficult<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">. The poems are beautifully written in terms that are easy for children of all ages to understand. I will say that \u201cThe Moon Loves You\u201d and \u201cChange\u201d are two of <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">our<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"> most read poems. My son has always had a special attachment to the moon so this one gets read almost nightly. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">Change quickly bec<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">a<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">me one of our <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">other<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"> most read poems <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">w<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">hen we had a situation shake up the home. The topics for these last 8 poems are \u201cwhat many kids are facing in the world today, what is true self-worth and how to nurture it, the importance of telling the truth, how to feel safe inside oneself, the magical effect of deep breathing and the adventure of being free to really be yourself\u201d.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201c<span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">Take a Deep Breath\u201d is one of my son\u2019s favorite poems from Being You. It incorporated the deep breathing technique that he learned in school. It also has illustrations of dragons, which is his favorite <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">beast<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">All in all, I give the Giggles and Joy series a double thumbs up. By far, one of my favorite poem series for children. If you are looking for a positive series full of lessons, look no <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">further<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">.
