Red blood like<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Berries, red, white<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mistletoe hang<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Deadly dart and Baldur\u2019s curse<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Druids\u2019 king seeking potion<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Now a kissing spot<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Love instead<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Shown through gifts<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wrapped mysteries<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ribbons hiding<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Hearts\u2019 desires<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wrap the day in a bow<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

But presents wait<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wait for me:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The mother and priestess<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Down in the woods<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

At the sacred crossroads<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Of birch and oak<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The mysteries of Male and Female<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

And everything in between<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

And beyond.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Here I find the altar<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

That no one knows of<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

But I<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I lay the offerings<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Salt<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Offal<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Nothing to scar or litter<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Nothing to damage or drain<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Leaving only footprints<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

For even I<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Am not permitted to remain.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
