Then each sign is paired with 16\ndifferent drink recipes.  Each recipe gives a bit of an explanation\nwhy each goes with that sign, the recipe, serving size, and\ndirections on mixing ins for serving suggestions (kind of glass and\ngarnish) included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\nare 192 (yes that number is correct) recipes, 16 different rings for\n12 different zodiac signs.  Not a single recipe is repeated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So,\nto see how good this book was I invited some friends over.  I\nassigned different things for them to bring based on their zodiac\nsign.  Being a Pisces, I gathered Raspberry vodka and some berries\nfor \u201cLove Potion #Nine.\u201d  My husband, the Scorpio went for hard\ncider and lager for a drink called \u201cSnake Bite\u201d (said to be so\npotent it is outlawed in the United Kingdom.) A Libra we know brought\nGin and Champagne for \u201cFrench 75\u201d, her husband a Gemini brought\nAbsinthe, Gin, and Grenadine for a \u201cMonkey Gland.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now,\nI decided I needed to do this Mixology of Astrology in two different\nways.  This first time was the small gathering at my place.  So, next\nI decided to go with my husband to an \u201cOpen MIC Night\u201d at a local\nbar where we knew some of our friends hung out, they are regulars\nthere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\nasked some of them what their sign was and let them look at a list of\ndrink names for their astrological sign.  This experiment ended up\nbecoming a lot of fun; people were enjoying changing their pace from\ntheir usual drink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For\nthe most part, the drinks that Ms. Faragher listed in each sign, was\npretty much spot on for the person with that astrological sign.  Most\nof the people that agreed to my experiment said they had never\nthought about trying a mixed drink different than what they always\ndrink.  Only three people that I asked to try this stated, they would\nstick to their beers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This\nbook would be great for small get-togethers, or at a\nBachelorette\\Bachelor party.
