The Cosmic egg, as primal, creative force has also\nbeen described as Shakti, the female energy from which all things\ncome.  \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nIn\nancient Egypt, the hieroglyph used for the Cosmic Egg was the same as\nthat used to describe the child in her mother&#8217;s womb. The primal\nuniverse and\/or the Great Mother who created it, took the form of an\negg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nAs\nstated by Diane Stein in her book, &#8220;The Guide to Goddess Craft&#8221;,\nformerly known as &#8220;The Women&#8217;s Spirituality Book&#8221;, \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n&#8220;Egg\nare also the univeral symbols of cretion, birth, rebirth, the<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nmoon\nand the goddess.
