I was inspired by a ritual in the book I reviewed, \u201c<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1592337597\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=1592337597&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=paganpages-20&amp;linkId=a0a9f9f8448b8b6b694d9d6b95a655e4\">Moon Power: Lunar Rituals for Connecting with Your Inner Goddess<\/a>\u201d by Simone Butler. I later modified her ritual for Ostara where some participants changed it to meet their own visions, so do revise it so it works for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nPisces\nis dreamy, making it a wonderful influence for letting your\nsubconscious choose images and words to glue to a seven-day glass\npillar candle. Candles can also be made for a particular intention.\nYou can find them at the dollar store. Any color you are drawn to is\nfine. I made three to burn consecutively, each representing a phase\nof a transition I am experiencing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nWhen\nmodified for a group craft and Ostara ritual, the objective was to\nput a representation of what you want to achieve on the bottom of the\ncandle, and above that, anything that needed releasing. As the candle\nburned, it would burn away that which was no longer needed so the\nwish would be fulfilled. We placed them on the altar, lit  them, then\ndanced and drummed to raise energy that sent up our intentions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/paganpages.org\/emagazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/dreamcandle2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21059\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\nButler\ndirects you to get comfortable at a well-lit table on which your\ncandle, images, scissors and glue are laid out, turn on hypnotic\nmusic, close your eyes and ground yourself with a few deep breaths.\nThen let your dreamy mind choose the images and how they will be\narranged on the candle. When it feels complete, place it on your\naltar and light it, raise some energy by dancing to send your desires\nup with the flames.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nHer\nritual incorporates Sedna, goddess of the sea, whom she introduced in\nthe pages preceding this ritual.
