The\nNadis and Meridians: Specific Energetic Pathwaysreation….<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nThe\nNadis and Meridians are highly specialized energetic pathways that\nrun in multiple directions throughout our body. It is these pathways\nthat Chinese Medicine, Accupuncture, Accupressure and other healing\nmodalities make use of by way of stimulating the flow of Chi energy\nto move in a non-restricted and healthful pattern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nThe\nNadis<\/strong> are highly\nspecialized and localized pathways that align with the Chakras and\nact upon the energy flow moving up the central column, inclusive of\nthe spine, spinal fluid, and the nerve bundles. In the Eastern\nKundalini Yoga practice the Nadis and the rising of the Ida and\nPingala coiling up the Sushumna is the serpent fire that opens the\nawareness of the practitioner to union with his\/her Higher Nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nThe\nIda is the lunar (Feminine) energetic path and the Pingala is the\nsolar (masculine) energetic path. The union achieved at the Crown\nchakra is the product of the combined polarities of moon and sun,\nfeminine and masculine giving birth to the Divine Child of your\nHigher SELF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nThe\nMeridians<\/strong> are the\npathways of the body that help to regulate and maintain a balance of\nflow from organ to organ. Each major Meridian or channel is\nresponsible for a specific organ and their surrounding structures.\nThe Meridians play a major role in Traditional Chinese Medicine and\nthe treatment of dis-ease, thought to be cause by a disruption of the\nnatural flow of the Chi within the body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nThere\nare 12 major meridians in the body:
\n\u2022 Lung meridian
\n\u2022\nLarge Intestine
\n\u2022 Spleen meridian
\n\u2022 Stomach meridian
\n\u2022\nHeart meridian

\nLet\u2019s\nbegin with a very simple exercise to run pure energy through the\nchakras<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nTurn\nyour focus and attention to your breath. Allow your consciousness to\nmove with the rise and fall of your chest and the filling and release\nof the lungs. Continue in this manner for several breaths, allowing\neach to become softer, smoother and slower. Now, shift your awareness\nto visualize seven clear glass spheres within your energetic self,\neach aligned with a specific chakra point along the central column.\nAnd approx. 7-8 inches above your head is an eighth glass sphere.\nThis is the transpersonal chakra; the gateway between your parts of\nSelf and the Divine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nBeginning\nat the root chakra, visualize the sphere filling with ruby red energy\nand light. As it continues to fill it becomes larger and more\nbrilliant in color and form. When it has reached full capacity, turn\nyour awareness to the sphere just above it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nVisualize\nthis sphere filling with vivid orange energy and light. As it\ncontinues to fill the sphere becomes larger and more brilliant in\ncolor and form. When it has reached full capacity, turn your\nawareness to the sphere just above it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nVisualize\nthis sphere filling with sunshine yellow energy and light. As it\ncontinues to fill the sphere becomes larger and more brilliant in\ncolor and form. When it has reached full capacity, turn your\nawareness to the sphere just above it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nVisualize\nthis sphere filling with emerald green energy and light. As it\ncontinues to fill the sphere becomes larger and more brilliant in\ncolor and form. When it has reached full capacity, turn your\nawareness to the sphere just above it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nVisualize\nthis sphere filling with sky blue energy and light. As it continues\nto fill the sphere becomes larger and more brilliant in color and\nform. When it has reached full capacity, turn your awareness to the\nsphere just above it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nVisualize\nthis sphere filling with indigo blue energy and light. As it\ncontinues to fill the sphere becomes larger and more brilliant in\ncolor and form. When it has reached full capacity, turn your\nawareness to the sphere just above it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nVisualize\nthis sphere filling with amethyst purple energy and light. As it\ncontinues to fill the sphere becomes larger and more brilliant in\ncolor and form. When it has reached full capacity, turn your\nawareness to the sphere just above it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nYou\nhave reached the uppermost sphere, that of your transpersonal space.\nSee this sphere fill with brilliant white light. It pulses radiant\nlight and seems brighter than those below it in clarity and\nintensity. When it has reached capacity, see all the spheres equal in\nsize, perfectly transparent and filled to capacity with colors that\nare clear and vibrant. Allow this image to permeate your being for\nseveral minutes. Feel the strength and power in each of the spheres\nand connect with this enlivening energy, engaging all of your\nsensations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nVisualize\na line of energy moving upwards from the ruby red sphere of the root\nchakra. This energetic pathway is the same hue of red as that\ncontained within the sphere itself. It moves, and swirls and as it\nreaches upwards it blends and mingles with the orange energy within\nthe sphere of the belly chakra. Allow the integration and synthesis\nof this energy to build and circulate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nNow,\nextend this energy and visualize it moving upwards towards the yellow\nof the sacral chakra. Allow it to blend and merge creating an\nenergetic column connecting each of the three spheres in turn. Each,\nfeeding one into the other, merging and unifying into a singular\nstream of vibrant and pulsing energy. Continue in this manner moving\nup through each of the chakra points rising all the way up and ending\nat the transpersonal chakra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nWhen\nreaching the transpersonal chakra, allow the brilliant white energy\nof the transpersonal sphere to pulse, infused with crystalline\nluminosity. As this energy builds it becomes brighter, fuller and\nmore expansive. Allow this energy to grow and expand until it is\noverflowing and spilling down, pouring its energy into each of the\nspheres below it. Each, in turn filling with the brilliance of Light,\nthe vibrancy of their individual colors fading and folding into the\ndensity of a brilliance of white. This transformation continues\ndownward through each chakra and when it returns to the root chakra\nallow this energy to circulate, moving up and cascading down through\neach of the chakras for as long as is needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nWhen\nyou feel energized and have a sense of balance, beginning at the\ntranspersonal chakra, see this energy slowly dissipate as each globe\nclears and returns to a state of transparent glass. Move downward\nfrom one sphere to the next. Each in turn fading in brilliance,\nreturning to its resting state of transparency and size.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nWhen\nyou have returned to the root chakra and the spheres are once again\nclear pure transparent glass, chant a sustained \u201c OM \u201c to\ncomplete the working and coalesce the rate of vibration within each\nof the chakra columns in each of the subtle bodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
