We all come into paganism from other sources, and like it or not those sources effected our own journey on a deeper level. This is not a book for those looking for structured black and white thinking on spirituality. It is experimental and requires engagement to get much out of it. So, hand holding and spoon-feeding of the answers is going to not happen here.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Being pagan doesn\u2019t mean one ought to stop learning, and there are often deep wounds to those of us that come onto the path. Readers, I know for myself there are times when know yourself takes a lot of work to really settle into. When presented with the opportunity to review Sarah Bowen\u2019s work Spiritual Rebel, it is a book that presents a challenge as much as an opportunity.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Spoiler alert, the book does have a three-week action plan exploring three topics that will give the reader many opportunities to look deep within themselves at their own definitions on what spirituality means to them. It also begins with the reader being invited to take out the spiritual trash, ie \u2026 spiritual beliefs that do not work for them, as well as a very well thought out experiment with looking at how one defines the idea of god. Encouraging the reader to look at multiple definitions and pick the place holder that feels right to them. Its for those misfits that aren\u2019t quite sure where their spiritual path really is, and the extra resources are offered in support of one\u2019s own healing journey.
