Part one consists of an Introduction to Fairies. The author goes over different versions of the term Faeries and tells<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">a little about where the<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">Fae<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">come from, different classifications<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">as well as different names they may go by depending on culture and region.<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">From the beginning<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">I noticed the<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">photography though only in black and white, is beautiful<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">and can be seen throughout<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">the entirety of the book.<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">I<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">do wish they were in color though, just because they are so beautiful,<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">I truly feel they would have been ethereal in color.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Liberation Serif, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Throughout<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">the<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">book the<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">author was able to tell of his own experience with the Faeries<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">in which I<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">thoroughly enjoyed how down to Earth the re-telling was. I appreciated th<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">at<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> Mr. Harvey<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">very much still seemed in awe of his experience<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">s<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> which brought magic to his retelling. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Liberation Serif, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">In Part 2 Mr. Harvey touches on <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">l<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">ore and I was so very excited to get into<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">it<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">and learned some excellent information such as likes, dislikes, and my favorite,<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">a step by step guide to help you see them.<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">When Mr. Harvey went into his personal <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">r<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">esearch later in Part 2,<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">I got<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">goosebumps at his telling of hi<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">s<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> and his wife\u2019s<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">adventures covering sightings from<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">locals. Part 3 covered the Faery realm, different superstitions, elementals, and flowers.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Liberation Serif, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Overall,<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">I am<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">happy to have this book on <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">my book<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> shelf. I feel it was informative and fun<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">as well as covered a wide variety<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">of Faerie topics. As<\/span> \u201c<span lang=\"en-US\">Plain<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">&amp; Simple\u201d as the cover claims. I do wish there was more <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">to<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> this book and hope to find more work on Faeries from this Author. He was engaging and to the point. I do wish the chapters and parts were a little better organized for quick flip through but luckily the book is small enough at 1<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">44<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> pages that I could still quickly pull information as needed. Part one consists of an Introduction to Fairies. The author goes over different versions of the term Faeries and tells a little about where the Fae come from, different classifications as well as different names they may go by depending on culture and region. From the beginning I noticed the photography though only in black and white, is beautiful and can be seen throughout the entirety of the book. I do wish they were in color though, just because they are so beautiful, I truly feel they would have been ethereal in color. Throughout the book the author was able to tell of his own experience with the Faeries in which I thoroughly enjoyed how down to Earth the re-telling was.
