Cyndi Brannen\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/Keeping-Her-Keys-Introduction-Witchcraft\/dp\/1789040752\/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=keeping+her+keys&amp;qid=1574285658&amp;sr=8-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Keeping her Keys<\/a> is an introduction to Modern Hekatean Witchcraft. It\u2019s not just a book, but a workable course which leads to the possibility of self-initiation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">One of my favourite things about this book is the \u201cYou do you\u201d attitude. Although there are guides to how to do the work and how to connect with Hekate, there is no authoritarian overbearing message of exactly how to go about this. This book gives you the tools to make the connection; it\u2019s up to you to do the rest.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Commitment is required to follow this course, so this isn\u2019t really a book for the casual \u201cdip in and dip out\u201d reader- although for those already dedicated to Hekate, it\u2019s a fantastic reference and an intriguing look at the different ways to honour the Goddess of the Crossroads.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">This book is also a great Witchcraft primer and a reminder of the core tenets of the powers of intention and setting goals. Cyndi talks about the benefits of witchcraft including personal growth and self-discipline. She explains the pitfalls of imprecise spell work and offers step by step guides to creating effective intentions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Hekate has become more and more popular in recent years. There are many ways to honour Hekate, and this book emphasizes that point- one of my favourite things about it.
