Created by Fu Xi, the mythical First Emperor of China, the I Ching is also known as the \u201cBook of Changes.\u201d Not only does it provide forecasts of the future, it is also the source of all Chinese wisdom.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Liberation Serif, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">The outcome of throwing three coins determines if a line is broken or whole. Stack upon one another, each set of three lines forms a trigram; in all there are eight \u2013 based on the eight directions of heaven. Those were later expanded to 64 hexagrams, each made up of six lines, that now make up the I Ching.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Liberation Serif, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Born in Taiwan, Cho-Hsiu Chen studied Buddhist, Confucian and Taoist teaching over many years with many masters. She learned about different versions of I Ching, including an old one with interpretations by Lai Zhi De who was born in 1525. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Liberation Serif, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">That version combined Taoism, Buddhism, Confucianism and Legalism with a deep understanding of the laws of nature.
