It isn\u2019t a quick read but it\u2019s<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">a<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">GREAT<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">read. There is a total of 8 chapters<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">and 1<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">28<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> pages.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Liberation Serif, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">The introduction discusses the authors<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">beginnings,<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">talking<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">on folk magic and the authors own Shamanic preferences. The introduction gave <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">a <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">detailed overview<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">of the chapters which helped<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">later when I wanted to go back and re-read information. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Liberation Serif, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Chapter 1 discusses Diagnosing and re-mediating space, <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">an<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> overview of Shamanism, folk healing, <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">&amp;<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> folk curing. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">It was<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> eye opening<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">as I identify<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">with some of these. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Liberation Serif, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Chapter 2 discusses<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">visualization, personal power, focus and specificity, tools for working magic and an overview of Hoodoo <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">(<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">African American<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">rootwork tradition and practices<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">)<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> to add to you<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">r<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> repertoire. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Liberation Serif, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Chapter 3 might have been one of my favorites, as a Cottage witch myself cleansing and clearing the spaces in my home are second nature. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">T<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">here are several wonderful recipes<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">and ideas for floor washes in this chapter, as well as listing commercially available products. The section on sprays and spritzes<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">for pick-me-ups in the space were also quite delightful and the author throws in 2 recipes<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">to get you started. The author touches on jinx reversing, dealing<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">with harmful objects and<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">visualization<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">and energy healing. The visual cleansing of ho\u2019oponopono is discussed a few times and I am quite excited about it. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Liberation Serif, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">At the end of ALL the Chapters there is A sub-section for those learning Shamanic Journeying<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">I haven\u2019t<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">tried it yet but plan to soon. There are several questions set up and a small section to help navigate through your journey. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Liberation Serif, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">I found this book to be very helpful and couldn\u2019t wait to keep going. Chapter 4 discusses Protection<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">after cleansing a very important step in my opinion. The chapter was respectful as it discussed the restless and wandering. It discusses ghosts, helping spirits, and ancestral ties. I really enjoy the <\/span>\u201c<span lang=\"en-US\">Felt Sense Exercise\u201d on pg.84. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">P<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">endulum, divination, and tarot are discussed<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">as well as Shamanic<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">Journeying, in which the book has gone over and explored quite nicely throughout<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">the book.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Liberation Serif, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Closing<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">Chapter<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">titled Saints, Angels, and Patron Spirits<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">was <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">a<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">helpful guide to those who can<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">help cleanse and protect <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">the <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">home<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">and office alike.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Liberation Serif, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Overall,<\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\">I enjoyed this book immensely!
