Introducing numerology \u2013 the metaphysical study of numbers \u2013 Shannon explains their potential significance. With the understanding \u201c[e]verything in the universe is made up of some form of energy,\u201d that means numbers do as well. The life path, destiny, soul urge and personality numbers give a profile of your personality. The meaning of each numbers gives readers a better understanding of themselves, followed by a paragraph about each pair of numbers to give a sense of their potential compatibility in a relationship. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c[P]almestry offers a complete personality profile, including major life choices, challenges, and opportunities. Through connecting with the hands of another individual, you can get a sense of what they may be like as a partner or a lover,\u201d she states. Chapter two introduces the ancient sacred art, its basics, how to read palms, and finding a love match by looking at the hands. The meaning of each of the lines, mounts, knuckle shapes, ridges, patterns and fingers are given so readers can again learn more about themselves and learn how to find a love match.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The third tool to help find a potential partner is astrology based on the date, time and birthplace. Highlights of the twelve zodiac signs, how they are when it comes to relationships, and how they match up with each other of the other signs offer witches \u2013 and everyone else \u2013 guidance in finding a partner.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEnchanting Your Way Into Your Partner\u2019s Heart\u201d is filled with spells, charms, potions, crystal grids, incense, and other information in addition to guidance to create sacred space in which to make and use them. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I tend to be cynical of love spells and would never want to do something to affect someone\u2019s freewill. I have only done a few in my sixteen years as a witch, with little success. When I am ready, I will use some of the spells presented in this book, making modifications to fit my path and my practice. One incorporates feng shui\u2019s love corner, another a crystal grid, the third a candle spell. The chapter also includes a sexy spiced wine recipe, an attraction sachet, an Adam and Eve talisman, a tarot love spell and two others <\/span>that<\/span> require love letters to be written. She wisely cautions the spells must all be done with care and honest intention<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On the last page of the book, Shannon writes, \u201cThe ultimate truth of love is that first you must love yourself. \u2026 Sometimes what needs to happen before love can be allowed to enter your life is for you to accept yourself in all your glory. \u2026 Love you first, an<\/span>d<\/span> that partner you have been searching for will appear as if by magic.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Had that been the opening paragraph, I would have expected the book to present ways for me to do just that<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
