Where Is My Rug?<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n

When I started learning the Tarot \u2013 wow, over thirty years ago! \u2013 I used to \u201cthrow\u201d the cards nearly every day because my life was so filled with drama that I had <\/i>to know what was going to happen \u2013 or could happen \u2013 and the context of all this melodrama and operatic emotion! But nowadays, my life is much more serene \u2013 you could call it boring. One day is much like the next and I\u2019m quite content like that. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I recently moved into a new apartment and had to order new rugs for the entire place, since it has hardwood floors. The last rug I ordered has yet to arrive. This is it:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I ordered it a month ago. Yes, I know with the COVID-19 virus, things are coming more slowly than ever, but I have been following the tracking and it\u2019s been in the Buffalo warehouse for over ten days now. Yesterday I called the 1-800-Fed-Ex phone number and started an investigation into Where Is My Rug? I have talked to two very nice people about this issue but of course I don\u2019t know where my rug is yet or when it\u2019s going to arrive. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This is not drama. This is not even very important in the grand scheme of things. But this seems like the perfect question for the Lenormand! Where is my rug? <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I suppose the proper question should be: When will my rug arrive? Since presumably the rug is at the Fed-Ex warehouse here in Buffalo. That\u2019s what the tracking information says. It\u2019s been there since May 9. That\u2019s quite a long <\/i>time ago! <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Where is my rug? When will it arrive?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

These are the cards I pulled in answer to these questions:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With a Line of Five reading, the card in the middle, is the focus of the reading \u2013 the main issue here. Card #3, is 22 Paths or Crossroads. Obviously, if this is the main issue, we have some real problems. So the rug is still \u201con the road\u201d \u2013 still on its way to me. Well, duh! <\/i>I knew that already! But why<\/i> is it taking so long? And when <\/i>will I get it? <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Cards 2 and 4 describe the nature of the topic in more depth. Cards 1 and 5 sum up the reading. Cards 1 and 2 tell us what has led up to the current situation. Cards 4 and 5 tell us likely outcome. Meanwhile, Cards 1 and 3, Cards 2 and 4, and Cards 3 and 5 can be seen as \u201cmirror pairs\u201d to show us what else might be going on. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Cards 2 and 4 \u2013 11 Whip and 33 Key \u2013 mean more trouble to come. I don\u2019t think I\u2019m going to see this rug anytime soon. Cards 1 and 5 \u2013 34 Fish and 9 Bouquet means financial happiness. I\u2019m not sure how that applies to this issue here, unless it means I\u2019ll be getting a refund when the rug doesn\u2019t arrive! It wasn\u2019t a cheap rug, let me tell you, so I had better <\/i>get a refund if it doesn\u2019t arrive! <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Cards 1 and 2 \u2013 telling me what has led up to this current situation \u2013 is 34 Fish and 11 Whip and those two cards together mean financial problems \u2013 that\u2019s not my financial problems \u2013 it much be referring to Fed-Ex\u2019s problems. Obviously, they\u2019re having problems or else they would have delivered my rug well over a week ago! <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The likely outcome \u2013 Cards 4 and 5 \u2013 33 Key and 9 Bouquet \u2013 great happiness. So maybe my rug will come? <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Looking at the other cards \u2013 I\u2019m really not getting any <\/i>idea about when or even if this rug will ever arrive. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Going back to Card 3 in the middle \u2013 I checked timing in The Complete Lenormand Oracle Handbook: Reading the Language and Symbols of the Cards<\/u>, by Caitl\u00edn Matthews, and she writes \u201cApril\u201d is the timing for that 22 Paths! (Matthews, 63) Well \u2013 I ordered the rug in the last week of April! That tells me when I ordered it but not when it\u2019s going to come! However \u2013 in Diana Clark\u2019s fabulous <\/i>companion to The Gaelic Lenormand<\/u>, for 22 Paths, she writes that timing is \u201c22 days\/weeks\/month, around the 22nd<\/sup> of the month\u201d (Clark, 103). Well, as of this writing, it\u2019s the 21st<\/sup> of May, so maybe that means the rug will be coming tomorrow! We can only hope! <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Anyway, hopefully by this time next month I\u2019ll be doing readings in my finished office with my beautiful new rug! Or I\u2019ll be buying a different rug with the refund I\u2019ll have gotten from the company because I never received this one! Whatever \u2013 I\u2019ll let you all know. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
