I really enjoyed reading about Augusten’s life. Augusten had witchy powers as I call it, he knew things before they happened which I can relate to and I’m sure many of you reading this can, too. No one really explained anything to him so he had to pretty much figure it out all on his own. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The book starts out with him not really knowing he was a witch. He was eight years old on a school bus on the way home and he was looking out the window. As the bus drove over a bump he saw the image of his grandmother. Then he felt scared and anxiety. Once he got home he ran up to his door <\/span>with fear <\/span>and his mom opened the door with the phone on her ear and he was asking his mom what happen to Amah. He told his mom something really bad happened to her. H<\/span>is<\/span> mom was surprised and asked how he knew. He explained what happen on the bus and she told him that his grandmother was just in a bad car accident. Finall<\/span>y,<\/span> after talking to his mom about <\/span>this,<\/span> she explained to him that he was like her a witch. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Later on in the book, Augusten and his husband Christopher buy a new house, well its new to them but pretty old and with a lot of history and, of course, Augusten starts to see ghosts there. They have a crazy neighbor and the story is so funny, the poor guys hahaha. He also talks about his husbands health and what they are going through. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

He quotes, “Here\u2019s a partial list of things I don\u2019t believe in: God. The Devil. Heaven. Hell. Bigfoot. Ancient Aliens. Past lives. Life after death. Vampires. Zombies. Reiki. Homeopathy. Rolfing. Reflexology. Note that ‘witches’ and ‘witchcraft’ are absent from this list. The thing is, I wouldn\u2019t believe in them, and I would privately ridicule any idiot who did, except for one thing: I am a witch.”<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I love the way this book is written. You can really feel what hes going through and the way its written you can almost feel it with him. The humor is great in it. He had me giggling a lot especially <\/span>with his<\/span> chipmunk story. There are serious moments in it too that make you go ohh wow. I love his personality he would be someone really fun to meet and hang out with. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I don’t believe in coincidences I think everything happens for a reason. Reading this book will make some who dont believe say nah it was just a coincidence but if you\u2019r<\/span>e<\/span> a believer you would get there is no such thing as a coincidences.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I love to cook and bake. My mother was a great cook & I picked up her talent. I love to make my own fun recipes and add some magick to them. I love to spend my time with my hubby & boys. We love to be out in nature especially the beach & the forest. I belong in the forest, I guess all pixie\u2019s do hee hee. My friends call me Pixie due to my size I\u2019m 5\u20191 and barely 100 pounds with really long red and silver hair hee hee.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I collect stones like hag stones, labradorite, amethysts, quartz etc\u2026 I also collect witch statues, Goddess statues, owls, crows and the Moon. Oh & sea glass I cant forget that. Do tattoos count? If so I have over a 100 of them I\u2019m about 80% covered.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Another hobby is photography. I love taking pictures of nature such as flowers, animals, trees, mountains, the ocean and my favorite of all the Moon.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I love to unwind two ways one is with a great book, usually witchy or paranormal ones catch my attention the most. I do read & research a lot about the human body and diseases due to my families rare health issues. The other is going outside under the stars and Moon. What a great way to end the day looking up at the dark beautiful sky.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s pretty much it, you see what you get hee hee. You either love me or hate me. Hopefully you all will love me haha.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
