Cooke left in 2014 to restart her life after a relationship ended. She called to the universe to direct her to where she belonged and whom she should be with. A friend she\u2019d known for years appeared in her mind, but she dismissed it at the time. About a month later, the two started chatting, two months later they had an official date and about a month later she moved to Connecticut.\u00a0\u201cHere I\u2019ve found community unlike I\u2019ve ever experienced before, and embraced who I\u2019ve always been,\u201d she said.<br \/>\nUpon meeting, we found we had many things in common, including our birth day. As a Pisces, Kelli said she works best with water and full moon energy. I come from a very religious Southern Christian background. My mother would freak out if she knew I was a practicing witch. How long have you been practicing? <\/b><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><br \/>\nI think I\u2019ve always known that I was different than other folks. How do you define your practice? Though flow witch might be closer to what I do, as I find what flows naturally and go with that. The first man I dated after my divorce was a witch who reintroduced me to the Craft, this time by way of the Goddess. For 11 years I was in a coven, but with retirement, I have returned to an eclectic solitary practice. When accepting the mantle of crone, I pledged to serve and teach. This is what I do from my skoolie \u2013 a 30-year-old school bus converted into a tiny house on wheels that I am driving around the country, following 72-degree weather, emerging myself into nature, and sharing magic with those I meet.
