This book has everything a witch could want to know about magical herbalism. It is \u201cfull of purposeful potential and whimsical wisdom to be used wisely,\u201d with a catalog of 78 herbs <\/span>and<\/span> 40 rituals.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

For the herbs it gives the planetary companion, day of the week it corresponds with, elemental correspondence, zodiac sign, and gender. <\/span>The author explains a plants gender as its energy because it is \u201crelative to plant life [and] not assigned based on gender, but qualities of energy in life\u201d. She goes on to explain that we all posses both masculine and feminine energy and can harness both and <\/span>doing so<\/span> can help enhance our herbal work. <\/span>It’s a true trove of knowledge. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Its artwork and parchment-like <\/span>appearance<\/span> instantly reminds the reader of medieval texts such as<\/span> the <\/span>Voynich Manuscripts<\/i><\/span> and the <\/span>Tortula <\/i><\/span>with its stunning beauty. Contrary to those ancient texts this book does not include herbal remedies like most texts on magical herbalism, <\/span>so<\/span> it does not stray from one to the other as <\/span>do many texts<\/span>. I work very closely with herbs in my cooking, herbal medicines, and my magic. After reading this lovely tome I can work with my herbs in more depth than I have in the past.
