Everything starts small. No matter what shape or size the seed, there is opportunity for growth if nurtured properly. Even when deterred by storms, fires, or unnatural destruction,\u00a0trees will bud, bloom, and\u00a0regrow?sometimes\u00a0from the center of their own decimated stumps.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Trees represent longevity. They mark the passing of eras and generations. Regardless of <\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">acknowledgment<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> they shelter and nourish life by their existence, and in doing so produce enough energy to aid individuals on their specific quest for purpose and accomplishment.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">If mobility is an issue the easy meditations frame the groundwork <\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">for <\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">more challenging mental\u00a0explorations.\u00a0Opening windows and procuring potted trees, grasses, and sand gardens allows these connections to be\u00a0cultivated without as much physical strain.\u00a0Once a person has trained their mind to work with the body and spirit to connect with the earth,\u00a0they\u00a0can extend beyond and use visualization for further development.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\"><i><b>Easy Tree Meditation<\/b><\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\"><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">This practice is an exercise in patience and humility. It displays how small the human world truly is when separated from the bosom of the forces that birthed it. Feel the energy of the tree. The life. The structure. Mingle the vibrations with that electricity. Remain fixed to the space as if rooted until called back to earthly ties by either a vision, whisper, or tingling stops.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\"><i><b>Climbing Tree Meditation<\/b><\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\"><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">More agile bodies, stretched and practiced for endurance can partake of meditations up in the boughs.\u00a0A different atmosphere rests in the arms of our towering oxygen makers. Pulling one\u2019s self up limb by limb requires endurance, patience, and trust. Extending trust to one\u2019s physical prowess and that of their ability to estimate the strength of a limb is like air for thought.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Instead of solving equations on paper, they rest in the physical world. Tangible solutions are more necessary and detrimental.\u00a0One false move and injury can occur.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Tree meditations first require the climb\u00a0(or proper mental image of climbing), but that is the precursor. Once situated as high\u00a0as comfort allows, then the Climbing Tree Meditation\u00a0begins:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Sit on branch strong enough to hold weight<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Slide fingers over the bark<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Breathe deep and imagine the roots digging as deep under the dree as the branches reach. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Think of their purpose, their continuous reaching for a sun they cannot touch.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Imagine life struggles and how they relate to personal goals and future plans.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Think of the growth, the journey. Imagine the brain as if each crease were a branch reaching for more knowledge. No one can learn everything, but to seek answers is part of the human condition. Hear the animals. What they can do to better complete the areas they inhabit. I am so humbled and happy to share what I\u2019ve learned with everyone. The hope is that anyone can test these simple meditations out and breathe a little easier. I\u2019m a fire sign by nature, but connecting with our planet starts directly with earth, so I\u2019ve offered up that first little bit of love. Please practice with caution. My Climbing Tree Meditation is for those who are avid climbers, but the rest require very little physicality. They host life and death with balance. Harsh rules and tender moments exist in vast example. Breaking free from the pretentious expectations of societal strain provides the calming effects one needs to be at peace with themselves and find the answers they seek living captive within.\u00a0 Tree meditations remind\u00a0me\u00a0of\u00a0my own\u00a0potential. Everything starts small. No matter what shape or size the seed, there is opportunity for growth if nurtured properly. Even when deterred by storms, fires, or unnatural destruction,\u00a0trees will bud, bloom, and\u00a0regrow?sometimes\u00a0from the center of their own decimated stumps.\u00a0\u00a0 Trees represent longevity. They mark the passing of eras and generations. Regardless of acknowledgment they shelter and nourish life by their existence, and in doing so produce enough energy to aid individuals on their specific quest for purpose and accomplishment.\u00a0\u00a0 If mobility is an issue the easy meditations frame the groundwork for more challenging mental\u00a0explorations.\u00a0Opening windows and procuring potted trees, grasses, and sand gardens allows these connections to be\u00a0cultivated without as much physical strain.\u00a0Once a person has trained their mind to work with the body and spirit to connect with the earth,\u00a0they\u00a0can extend beyond and use visualization for further development. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Easy Tree Meditation\u00a0 This practice is an exercise in patience and humility. It displays how small the human world truly is when separated from the bosom of the forces that birthed it. Best done without shoes on, this tree meditation drives a deeper influence between instinct and consciousness.\u00a0 The Easy Tree Meditation requires one to stand before a tree trunk.\u00a0 Place hands against the bark.\u00a0\u00a0 Stare up the grains and focus on the network of leaves, limbs, branches, and twigs above. \u00a0 Feel the air pass through the lungs with each breath. \u00a0 Allow the energies within the wood to mingle with skin and drive new thoughts.\u00a0\u00a0 &nbsp; Sitting Tree Meditation\u00a0 For longer explorations,\u00a0it is best to sit before a tree resting with back against trunk, preferably in-between any roots that may stick up.\u00a0Instead of relying on the sense of sight in combination with the others,\u00a0this meditation requires more trust which will deliver a new perspective.\u00a0For the Sitting Tree Meditation: &nbsp; Close eyes.\u00a0\u00a0 Press hands on the ground on either sides. Or let them rest on nearby roots.\u00a0 Hum with the wind, or if none, let out a quiet tone.\u00a0 Listen to the vibrations. Feel the energy of the tree. The life. The structure. Mingle the vibrations with that electricity. It may tingle.\u00a0 Allow time to fall behind. Remain fixed to the space as if rooted until called back to earthly ties by either a vision, whisper, or tingling stops.\u00a0 &nbsp; Climbing Tree Meditation\u00a0 More agile bodies, stretched and practiced for endurance can partake of meditations up in the boughs.\u00a0A different atmosphere rests in the arms of our towering oxygen makers. Pulling one\u2019s self up limb by limb requires endurance, patience, and trust. Extending trust to one\u2019s physical prowess and that of their ability to estimate the strength of a limb is like air for thought.\u00a0\u00a0 Instead of solving equations on paper, they rest in the physical world. Tangible solutions are more necessary and detrimental.\u00a0One false move and injury can occur.\u00a0\u00a0 Tree meditations first require the climb\u00a0(or proper mental image of climbing), but that is the precursor. Once situated as high\u00a0as comfort allows, then the Climbing Tree Meditation\u00a0begins: &nbsp; Sit on branch strong enough to hold weight\u00a0 Slide fingers over the bark\u00a0 Breathe deep and imagine the roots digging as deep under the dree as the branches reach. \u00a0 Think of their purpose, their continuous reaching for a sun they cannot touch.\u00a0 Imagine life struggles and how they relate to personal goals and future plans.\u00a0 Think of the growth, the journey. Imagine the brain as if each crease were a branch reaching for more knowledge. No one can learn everything, but to seek answers is part of the human condition. Let the questions dance with what answer have already been found.\u00a0\u00a0 A sense of peace and calming should conclude the meditation.\u00a0 &nbsp; Easy Field Meditation\u00a0 Children find happiness easily. They are more in tune with their instincts. They trust themselves more than anyone else. Their wants and needs come first.\u00a0Not to be mistaken with immaturity, the inner child\u00a0is that part of\u00a0ourselves\u00a0that gets excited and loves deeply\u00a0without fear.\u00a0I still roll down hills and chase\u00a0butterflies through fields\u00a0because it\u00a0connects\u00a0me\u00a0to\u00a0my\u00a0environment.\u00a0Simply sitting in a field or meadow and soaking up the fresh air and sunshine\u00a0hold the power to\u00a0recharge the human body. Easy Field\u00a0Meditation\u00a0is enlightening and effortlessly done:\u00a0 &nbsp; Find a spot to sit on the grass or dirt and do so.\u00a0 Rub palms over the ground around body.\u00a0 Close eyes and breathe in. \u00a0 Open them and look to the sky.\u00a0 Close eyes again and breathe in. \u00a0 With each breath feel the rhythm of the ecosystem. Hear the animals. Smell the air. \u00a0 With each exhale glance at the habitat, appreciate it for what it is. \u00a0 Think of how people fit into this. What they can do to better complete the areas they inhabit.
