My first impression of the box was that it made me happy! I loved the packaging, with its positive affirmations and cute stickers. And, where does Sian get that galaxy tape? Brilliant. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-24055\" src=\"https:\/\/paganpages.org\/emagazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/lunar-box2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"149\" height=\"199\" \/><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The Lunar Box contains a range of items connected to moon spirituality, and arrives either in time for the new moon or the full moon. You can get a single box appropriate for the upcoming moon, a full ritual box packed with everything you could need to start working spiritually and positively with the moon, and there is also a range of subscription options which make the individual cost of each box cheaper. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Opening the box itself was a relaxing experience. In the video, I compare it to sitting in front of a really good ASMR channel, and it does have that same quality. My favourite items were definitely the ones you won\u2019t be able to get elsewhere.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The first of these was a jar for creating or charging your own moon water. Now, I don\u2019t make moon water, but I do collect rain or stream water for my altar, so the Moon Water jar is absolutely ideal as a special place to store it. I\u2019ve been storing altar water in a basic plastic water bottle, but glass is much less reactive so I think I will switch to this new, and frankly prettier jar! The jars and bottles are all glass which is also easily recyclable, but more importantly can be used over and over again. There is some use of plastic, which I think is unavoidable, such as the bubble-wrap which keeps the more fragile items from breaking. Personally, I tend to reuse bubble-wrap, so that\u2019s not too much of an issue for me. There\u2019s nothing overtly Wiccan, Druidic, Heathen, or indeed any tied to any other path about the contents. It\u2019s just about working with the moon and perhaps about mindfulness and self-care, and empowerment. That\u2019s helped along with the inclusion of a Lunar Journal. My journal runs from March to March, and I\u2019m not sure if this reflects the astrological lunar year or simply the month the box was sent, but either way, it\u2019s a lovely touch. The journal itself includes ideas for full and new moon rituals, which could be performed by anyone regardless of their path.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\"><b>Value for Money<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">All the items in the box appear to be of excellent quality. The oils are from a brand I know and use myself. The treats are well known brands, and the additional extras all have a feel of quality bordering on luxury \u2013 without being ostentatious or wasteful. I\u2019d venture that to buy the items separately might cost you in excess of \u00a350, if not more. Plus, to get that delivered to your door, or as a gift for someone, that makes it even better value.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">I would definitely recommend this box for anyone who needs a good pick me up, who is perhaps wanting to rekindle their spiritual connection or wanting to start working with the moon, or who simply wants to indulge in a bit of spiritual self-care. While times are still stressful and uncertain, taking time to nurture your mental, emotional, and spiritual health has never been more important. That, for me, is where this box ticks all the boxes.
