Our Relationship to the Divine <\/span><\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a> Part One: In Search of the Divine<\/span><\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

…. The Divine flows within me. The Limitless All supports me. All Beings of Spirit and Essence are my teachers. I AM the corporeal out-picturing of the Divine\u2019s desire… <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A shared goal of seekers on any spiritual path is that of revealing the Divine. What the definition of that word \u2013 \u201cDivine\u201d \u2013 is carries the weight of personal perception, experience and what we have learned from our community, society as a whole and observation of an interface of communing that resonates with your belief system.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

For some that space of revelation occurs only when they have suspended what they believed to be true of Divinity and called out in complete surrender to the possibilities of how the Divine courses through existence. For others, the interface between Divinity and themselves is an organic flow supported by the acknowledgment that they embody the Divine by virtue of being a product and spark of Divinity\u2019s presence. And, for others, the Divine lay beyond and separate from who and what the individual is as a human, corporeal being. I believe that in our search all of the above is true at some point on that journey.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

One of the prominent definitions of \u201cDivine\u201d is: of, from, or like God or a God..<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Now, this complicates matters further, because the entirety of what we consider to be Divine is in one way or another an out-picturing of what we consider to be God or like a God. For me, the concept of God(s) has always been one of an energy that contains the wisdom of all that is. Not a person or even a specific form, but the embodiment of pure undiluted energy that takes on the form of whatever is needed to achieve the appropriate level of understanding (and connection) that is very individualized and \u2018person\u201d specific.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This is a very broad and dynamically inclusive idea, which for me has actually given more clarity and definition to what I believe the Divine to encompass. I will repeat a statement made in the last post (Getting Back to Basics)\u2026<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201d One of the adages that goes hand and hand with mystical studies is that with more knowledge gained comes greater responsibility .I would like to add to that the thought that with more depth of understanding comes greater simplicity in endeavor.\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The search for the Divine requires nothing more than opening to your own wisdom and place of knowing. And, yet it is exceedingly complex in how to go about that task. At every moment we are in the presence of the Divine. We breathe in the inspiration of the divinity of Life and exhale the creation of new life as response. Follow the breath of this release back to its point of origin; spiraling inward to a self\u00a0that serves as the sacred vessel of the Divine incarnate. Breathe in the Divine and exhale as Divinity.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Following a practice as a solitary for 2 years, she dedicated to\u00a0Oak and Willow Coven of The Assembly of the Sacred Wheel Tradition in November of 1996. She received her\u00a01st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th (Elder) degrees within the Assembly Tradition and has served as High Priestess of two ASW covens since Samhain of 2001 and the Winter Solstice of 2015.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\nAs a teacher of esoteric and magickal studies\u00a0she uses Energetic Anatomy, Tarot, Astrology, Hermetic Qabala, Eastern Philosophy, and Numerology as the foundations of her diverse selection of workshops and writings for more than 25\u00a0years. Exploration of varied energetic protocol has been the focus of her work for some time now and the information gained through direct experience informs all of her magickal and spiritual work.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
