Protection Door Hanger<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n

Merry meet.<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I was inspired to make protection door hangers by first fashioning twigs and vines into small wreaths that would fit over a doorknob. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Then I collected up as many small objects as I could find that had protective powers, including bells, pentacles, tiny jars of salt, hag stones, sweet gum tree seed pods, tarot card charms, goddesses, crystals (b<\/span>lack tourmaline, black obsidian, c<\/span>lear quartz, amethyst)<\/span>, evil eyes, rune symbols, dried herbs, and spirals.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I attached these to the bottom of each wreath with embroidery floss, ribbon, twine, or string.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Other objects that offer protection include a<\/span>ngel wings, the Hand of Fatima, the triquetra, dreamcatchers, Brigid\u2019s Cross, Hecate\u2019s Wheel, an athame or sword, the Triple Goddess, dragons, the ankh, the Eye of Horus, pyrite, and solar cross. The hexagram, m<\/span>istletoe, some birds, sigils, <\/span>chamomile, and rosemary also offer protection.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Let your intuition guide you. Working with deities, astrology, and other natural forces, while keeping your intention clear will add power to the charm.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
