Caught red handed,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Well, purple really,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Juice dripping down<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Guilty chin.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Bucket half full<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Promising wine, crumbles pies<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

All lies<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If I don\u2019t stop eating them<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Along the trail.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

These jewels are not just mine<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I share them with<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Doves, pigeons, blackbirds<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Lon Dubh shouting<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As I invade<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

His sacred space.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So I leave enough<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To feed the feathered folk<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Even knowing this means<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Imminent purple plopping<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On the bonnet of my<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Long suffering vehicle.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Dodging nettles<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Spiky brambles<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Benevolent thorns<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

They take my juice<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As I seek theirs.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Caught red handed<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Purple hand gang<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

States the seven-year-old<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As we fill our chests<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With treasure.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
