Meet <\/b>Cheyenne Falls<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I met Cheyenne and her fianc\u00e9 as they began building their skoolie at the homestead in Georgia I visit twice a year. We got to talking about our paths. One of the things I liked is that she, too, worked with death, and was not squeamish about bones and such. I also enjoyed the meals we shared, typically with her doing the cooking. Working in the lodge kitchen, the range was her altar, a wooden spoon her wand, pots and pans her cauldron, food her magic. But she\u2019s not just a kitchen witch. I found her exploring the many different paths of the Craft. It won\u2019t be long before she opens an online \u201cschool\u201d for witches \u2026 \u201cwitch\u201d I found fitting since she was living in a skoolie. It was a joy getting to know her. Reading her answers, you\u2019ll get to know Cheyenne a bit, too. <\/span><\/p>\n

1. Do you have a magical name you<\/strong>\u2019re willing to share?
\n<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong> \u00a0I do and it is Sunshine.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2. In what state do you reside?
\n<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0 \u00a0 South Carolina<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3. How do you make your living?
\n<\/strong><\/b> \u00a0 I do tarot and pendulum readings. I also do mediumships.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

4. Are you out of the closet? \/ Have you felt threatened?
\n<\/strong><\/b>I sure have. I slowly left at 16 and was fully out by 19.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

5. When did you first know you were a witch? How long have you been practicing?<\/strong><\/b>
\nI think I\u2019ve always known. Since childhood, I was always wanting to make potions and spells, but as I got older and met a friend I became more intrigued. Her mother even told me I was a witch and came from a long line of them. When I finally came out to my mom, who always knew due to the random herbs and altar I set up in my closet, that\u2019s when she informed me I was not the first witch, and while most family members where also, they didn\u2019t say anything to anyone, not even each other.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

6. How do you define your practice? Do you follow a specific tradition?
\n<\/strong><\/b>I guess you would say I\u2019m eclectic. I do not follow any said tradition.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

7. What one object must be on your altar for it to be an altar?
\n<\/strong><\/b>My altar is the kitchen, so I guess I\u2019d have to say a stove.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

8. Do you have a daily practice?
\n<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0 \u00a0 No, I do not.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

9. How do you respond when someone asks, <\/strong><\/b>\u201cAre you a good witch or a bad witch?\u201d
\n<\/strong><\/b>I usually say I\u2019m a bad witch.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

10. Do you have a familiar?
\n<\/strong><\/b>No, I do not.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

11. What was your most magical experience?
\n<\/strong><\/b>There are so many for so many different reasons.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

12. What gifts, skills, or powers do you share?
\n<\/strong><\/b>I am an empath and very intuitive. It\u2019s definitely a blessing and a curse at times. Crowds can be draining.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

For 11 years I was in a coven, but with retirement, I have returned to an eclectic solitary practice. When accepting the mantle of crone, I pledged to serve and teach. This is what I do from my skoolie \u2013 a 30-year-old school bus converted into a tiny house on wheels that I am driving around the country, following 72-degree weather, emerging myself into nature, and sharing magic with those I meet.
