Alysa\u2019s goal was to create a repository of much information, a collection of the things that were not available to her when she was developing an understanding of Tarot. Not only does she detail the structure of the deck and the meaning behind each card, she goes to great lengths to help the reader understand the stories behind the modern day Tarot Deck. She\u2019s included all the things that she would have liked to find as a collection of knowledge in one place.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In a unique approach the book has been divided not into chapters but into eight Elements. These elements need not be read in succession or in any order but are assembled as a reference guide or perhaps encyclopedia is a better description. Each of these elements delivers specifics important to Tarot. The Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana each hold their own individual element. Among the elements, there is one dedicated to the mechanics of how to develop a relationship with your deck. Yet another element details exercises you can practice to strength train your intuition; an element that articulates how to protect and care for your deck. The final element speaks to corresponding crystals and connections to astrology. The wide range of information about Tarot reflects Alysa\u2019s many years of experience.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The book is available in paperback and hardcover. I\u2019ve elected to purchase the hardcover as I see it as an integral part of my library. Thank you, Alysa, for this amazing gift.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
