Becoming familiar with this space is important because it is visited in other exercises throughout the book. This presented an unexpected problem because I am a nomad on the road and do not have a tree with which to sit. I used the memory of an important tree from my childhood, but my connection was not strong enough as the tasks continued, such as bringing myself \u201cto the beginnings of everything\u201d and allowing a conversation to happen. I continued reading and executing the tasks as best I could, but opening to the future and finding guides did not happen for me after repeated attempts.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Liberation Serif, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">The role of a visionary is to dream the future into life. Day shows how with a \u201cplay\u201d staged in two acts. Act 1 has fourteen chapters in five scenes. It works with a visionary model to learn why we are here and the possibilities that await. Act 2 introduces techniques to travel through time in a dozen chapters grouped in five scenes. Shamanic tools and step-by-step practices are presented to guide the reader to set intentions, connect with guides, receive visions, release past burdens, and see clearly into the future.
