I say hi to the crows<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Perched on slate roofs <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Raucously gossiping <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I admire the bees<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Purposeful in purple<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Claiming the lavender<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I dodge the ants <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Single minded march<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Carrying more than I<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I nod to the magpies<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Superstition on wings<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Black and white made grey<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I shiver in the breeze<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Late summer caress<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A promise of fall<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

(But someone to catch)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I sigh in the sun <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Warm honey-pour bright<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The last, loving light<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s here, it\u2019s here!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Throw open the latch<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Let it in.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
