“Psychic Skills for Magic & Witchcraft”<\/em> guides readers to develop intuitive abilities, something many may not realize is possible. The book begins with an introduction to beliefs, a glossary of terms, and exercises to master the fundamental tools required at all levels of psychism. Meditation, imagination, and the effects of social conditioning are explained. Pathworking, remote viewing, psychometry, manifesting, and letting go are among the skills covered.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In Chapter 5, readers are given exercises to advance such skills as clairvoyance, telepathy, and invisibility. Eleven manic arts are explained in Chapter 6, from casting bones and runes (astragyromancy) to divination by flame (lampadomamcy). Practical exercises accompany some of them. Additional chapters present dreamwork, working with spirits and deities, and the astral realms. In them, psychic, witch, and author Cat Gina Cole shares her own experiences and excerpts from her journals to show how psychic occurrences can appear in daily life.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I found the chapter “What They Don’t Tell You” particularly interesting. In it, Cat writes candidly about some of the challenges of being a psychic and the tools she uses to cope.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“Psychic Skills”<\/em> is a guide that can take someone from beginner to expert, which was what Cat needed when a head injury wiped out psychic skills she had had her whole life. She turned to the lessons she had taught in her witchcraft and paganism classes. They became a manual she used to regain her abilities. The resulting publication serves as a both a reference book and study guide to explore potential, develop intuitive abilities, increase skills, and apply those gifts. Seekers will find techniques for all skill levels and exercises for a vast array of abilities. It is easy to understand, It was Cat’s desire to bring “all psychics confidence, guidance, and peace of mind, no matter where they are in the journey.” It’s the book she wishes she had growing up as a psychic.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
