“Magick is the science and art of causing change to occur in conformity with the will.”<\/em><\/p>\n –Aleister Crowley<\/p>\n MUSIC Review<\/strong><\/p>\n Faun<\/strong><\/p>\n German group.\u00a0 Pagan, folk, medieval music and darkwave.\u00a0 Performances combine medieval and modern instruments like the hurdy-gurdy, lutes, bagpipes and celtic harp.\u00a0 Their vocals are in diverse languages including Latin, Greek, German and English.\u00a0 Formed in 1998.<\/p>\n I had the good fortune to score a telephone interview with one of the band members a few years ago during my first stint with PaganPages.\u00a0 (How many years ago?\u00a0 Oh, about umpteen, back when I was still in my frisky fifties!)\u00a0 It was an absolute pleasure and the friendliest interview I’ve ever had.<\/p>\n And in case you’re wondering, yeah, I still listen to them.<\/p>\n Verdict: 5 broomsticks.<\/p>\n Source: Long ago interview, Wikipedia and Oliver’s Tyr site.<\/p>\n TV Review<\/strong><\/p>\n Xploration Outer Space<\/strong><\/p>\n The show is aimed toward kids but has drawn in a big adult audience too.\u00a0 (Including yours truly.) It’s easy to see why–fast paced, accessible and informative, you can learn a lot here.
