They’re excellent for beginners and advanced practitioners alike, and I always find myself coming back to them for inspiration and reference. That said, Celtic Fairies in North America is the perfect addition to my library of works on Fairies and the Fae. Fairies and other similar spirits and cryptids are a subject of fascination for me, and this book explores the transplanted beliefs about Fairies and other beings of the sort coming along with immigrants from Scotland, Ireland Wales and Britain. Those beliefs, naturally over time, morphed into their own mythos and set of beliefs and stories, especially as the land those spirits inhabited changed. Morgan Daimler is one of the few authors I will undoubtedly trust when it comes to subjects dealing with Celtic and Norse spirituality, including Fairies. This book is an exploration of the different beliefs of and in Fairies across the North American Content, from Canada, the United States (which is broken up into cultural region), and even Mexico and other areas.

I chose to pick this book up to review for a multitude of reasons; first off, Morgan Daimler is one of my favorite authors from the Pagan Portals series.
