The Complete Language of Trees: A Definitive & Illustrated History\u00a0<\/em>is a beautiful, full color, illustrated encyclopedia of trees from around the world. Each entry gives the tree’s scientific name, folk names, maximum height, symbolic meanings, spiritual and healing powers, as well as any folklore and factoids about each tree. The trees themselves are alphabetized by\u00a0scientific name\u00a0<\/em>rather than their common folk names, but there is an index in the rear of the book that gives the common names of each tree, and lists which entry number to look for to find that tree. Many of the trees have full color, vibrant illustrations, making it easier to identify these trees in your locale, or even while traveling!<\/p>\n

I was very excited when I was given a chance to review this book, as I am a tree lover! I love trees, their energy, their different symbolism, and their various spiritual and homeopathic\/healing properties.\u00a0The Complete Language of Trees\u00a0<\/em>truly lives up to its title, and it is a truly complete compendium of trees from across the globe. I have no critiques for this wonderful addition to my library, and I would recommend anyone interested in Arboreal magick, Trees, Conservation and Nature to add this book to their collection; I’m certainly glad I did. Because of this, I give\u00a0The Complete Language of Trees\u00a0<\/em>a 5\/5 star rating.<\/p>\n

S. Theresa Dietz\u00a0<\/strong>has written numerous books and encyclopedias on the symbolic meaning of plants, herbs, trees and flowers, backed by scrupulous research.
