What I like best about this handy little tome is it doesn’t presuppose the reader has detailed familiarity with astrological interpretations.\u00a0 So there’s an eight page “How to Use This Diary” section in the front, immediately followed by a two page chart of Northern Hemisphere (natch) moon phases for 2025.\u00a0 Every astrological sign is acknowledged and explained as it arrives on the calendar.\u00a0 There are sun sign forecasts, eclipse and supermoon tips and even mercury retrograde suggestions.\u00a0 The black and white illustrations and page edgings throughout the book are quite handsome without being distracting.\u00a0 (They remind me of seafaring maps used by old-time sailors.\u00a0 Quaint touch.)\u00a0 The print is just the right size and easy to read, and the language is comprehensible.\u00a0 Jargon is kept to a minimum and is always explained ahead of time.\u00a0 All of this greatly<\/i>\u00a0reduces the odds of bewilderment–what I think of as the “WTF?” Effect–while trying to plan ahead.<\/div>\n

I’m putting this book to work in 2025.\u00a0 From the “Intentions for the Year” page to the notes section at the end, I plan to have all the pages in between perused and extremely well thumbed by next December 31st, and although the week at a glance section doesn’t leave much room for extensive notes, they’ll do just fine for me.\u00a0 (Think scribbles.)\u00a0 Sounds like a planner!<\/div>\n
