He is known as the Master of Visions and Dreams. Working alongside his brother Námo also known as Mandos the pair of brothers are known as the Fëanturi or Masters of Spirits. Irmo was married to Estë and they dwell in Lórien the gardens on the west of Valimar which is a city of many bells in Valinor. Irmo in his gardens tended to and created a place of refuge to the Elves of Valinor where they could be guided through visions and dreams. Irmo as a Master of Dreams and Visions is able to help all beings of Arda to tend and nurture their inner world and thus to help their outer growth evolve. Below is an incantation that can be used to connect with Irmo and initiate the growth process. O Irmo, Warden of Tranquil Thought, Dweller in the gardens where Time forgets its name— I turn my gaze inward, and call to thee. In the stillness between waking and rest, where the mind is loosed from its mortal tether, thou movest unseen, shaping dreams as the Valar shape the earth. From the mists of Lórien let thy presence draw near, not as thunder nor flame, but as the silver fall of unseen leaves upon the waters of thought. By the memory of things not yet spoken, and the visions that stir beyond the veils of night, I seek thy favor— not to command, but to listen, not to seize, but to receive. Let my soul walk in thy twilight groves, where the air is heavy with quiet truths, and every bloom holds a hidden name whispered only in sleep. Open the hidden ways, where dreams descend from the mind of Ilúvatar, and let thy voice, soft as the breath of Estë’s rest, speak to me in silence. O Irmo, gentle shaper of inward paths, I offer my waking heart as a vessel— fill it, if thou wilt, with the Light that dreams remember and waking forgets. Next Month Preview There isn’t an element for next month but rather the focus is on The Ainur.
