The first card I pulled was \u201cUnderstand your karmic lessons.\u201d I didn\u2019t feel like applying myself that day; I didn\u2019t study the card and raced through the write up without reflecting, identifying, or acting. When I again picked up the deck, I drew that same card. I laughed at what felt like a reprimand for trying to avoid something uncomfortable.
