I\u2019m really more a fall-and-winter person than a summer person but that doesn\u2019t real<\/span>l<\/span>y matter \u2013 this deck takes me back to my youth \u2013 when I <\/span>was <\/i><\/span>a summer person \u2013 when I went camping on the beach \u2013 living day and night in a bright red string bikini and a white lace throw-over \u2013 partying with a giant group of friends \u2013 going from sunrise to sunset \u2013 dancing around the bonfires we used to make \u2013 oh! what a great time it was! <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This is another deck with lovely artwork. The artist, Selena Moon, is also the creator of the Shadow and Light Oracle and the Sacred Light Oracle, as well as journals that correspond to these decks. They must be <\/span><\/span>very <\/i><\/span><\/span>popular, because they\u2019re currently out of stock. I love the sun-kissed look of these cards. Even on a cold winter day, these cards make you feel like it\u2019s the middle of summer and the sun is so bright it\u2019s not easy to see because of the solar brilliance. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Even the inside of the box the cards came in is beautiful!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In the little book that comes with the deck, it is explained that you can use this deck
\n\u201cfor any kind of spread both complicated and simple\u201d (Moon, 6). But there are four spreads in the book that were created for the Midsummer Oracle \u2013 the Wreath Spread, Seven Flowers Spread, Maypole Spread and the Midnight Sun Spread. I especially liked the Wreath Spread \u2013 a simple five-card spread that always seemed to tell me what I needed to know. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Incidentally, the back of the cards show a floral wreath.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
