For those looking to connect with Freyja, this book would be an excellent starting point. I&#8217;ve devoted part of my practice to Freyja for a few years now, especially as I am a cat parent; she&#8217;s not\u00a0<em>just\u00a0<\/em>a love goddess. She&#8217;s fierce, independent, highly intelligent, and will use her beauty to get what she wants. That said, she&#8217;s a goddess worth venerating, and this book gives you everything you need to start working with this complex deity.<\/p>\n<p><em><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-32909 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/paganpages.org\/emagazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_3872-2-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/paganpages.org\/emagazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_3872-2-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/paganpages.org\/emagazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_3872-2-768x513.jpg 768w, https:\/\/paganpages.org\/emagazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_3872-2.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Freyja: An Illustrated Guide to the Goddess of Magic, Love and War<\/em> is chocked full of worthwhile information, both in regards to the Norse pantheon and worldview, but also to Freyja specifically. As with the other entries in this series,\u00a0<em>Freyja\u00a0<\/em>starts off with a generic overview and introduction into the Norse pagan world. After this, Freyja is explored in all her depths. From her stories in the different mythological sources, to more modern, and even pop culture, appearances she&#8217;s taken on. All of these views of Freyja can help inform us as to who Freyja really is, and how she might appear to us today.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-32910 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/paganpages.org\/emagazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_3873-2-300x202.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"202\" srcset=\"https:\/\/paganpages.org\/emagazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_3873-2-300x202.jpg 300w, https:\/\/paganpages.org\/emagazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_3873-2-768x516.jpg 768w, https:\/\/paganpages.org\/emagazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_3873-2.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>I can&#8217;t rave enough about the artwork in these books, and\u00a0<em>Freyja\u00a0<\/em>is no different! The illustrations, color palettes, and imagery bring an ambiance to these books that&#8217;s unmatched; the mythological stories come to life, and suddenly, you&#8217;re in a different world, learning about Freyja, connecting with her, and learning her favorites. I&#8217;ve truly enjoyed reviewing this series of books, and they will remain a treasured piece of my occult and pagan library for years to come. I have no critiques of this book, and as such, I give <em>Freyja: An Illustrated Guide to the Goddess of Magic, Love and War\u00a0<\/em>a 5\/5 Pentagram rating!<\/p>\n<p><strong>L.
