There is a lot of misunderstanding when it comes to particular parapsychological concepts such as soul rescues, possession, and exorcisms.\u00a0 Centuries of religious propaganda and dogma have colored our understanding and acceptance of the phenomena and Hollywood has not helped to shed light on the truth either.\u00a0 In fact, classic flicks such as The Exorcist and Poltergeist have added so much sensationalistic garbage to the pop culture viewpoint that objectivity is out the window. <\/span><\/p>\n

Alright, you and your team have catalogued some irrefutable evidence that a location is haunted.\u00a0 Now what? <\/span><\/p>\n

When a location has legitimate paranormal activity then the real work begins.\u00a0 You can\u2019t just come in, run your investigation, and say, \u201cYep, you\u2019re place is haunted\u201d then simply pack up and leave the landowner scratching their head.\u00a0 The nature of the activity has to be dealt with in a manner satisfying the wishes of the landowner but also taking into account the well-being of the entities at the center. <\/span><\/p>\n

Hauntings aren\u2019t all interactive or dualistic in character with Casper the Friendly Ghost on one side and the Headless Horsemen at the other.\u00a0 A full spectrum of personalities, characteristics and levels of awareness come into play.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hauntings can be broken down into the sub categories of apparition, imprints, and demonic.<\/span><\/p>\n

In parapsychological terminology an \u00a0apparition is defined as the projection or manifestation of a quasi-physical entity.\u00a0 The rarest such entity being a full-body apparition; a collective apparition is one seen by more than one person; and a vapor apparition appears as a misty, white form.\u00a0 Apparitions are generally intelligent and thus not only aware of their presence in the physical world but responsive to the individuals and environment around them.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dealing with the effects of intelligent hauntings consequently is extremely dangerous and must be handled with utmost caution.\u00a0 There is a major psychological impact on both the entity and those who are affected by its presence.\u00a0 The emotional state of the entity must be determined and research into the deceased person and the events leading up to and following their death must be conducted.<\/span><\/p>\n

Countless books, internet sites, and individuals offer up the information and techniques involved in exorcisms but be mindful of the source when seeking or relaying information.\u00a0 Once again, it would be downright irresponsible to attempt this activity yourself.\u00a0 I have been studying the paranormal and I have been practicing magickal crafts for nearly 20 years and even I would never attempt to handle a possession case by myself nor do I pretend to know all that is involved in their process.\u00a0 These clerics go through years of specific mental and physical training and undergo extensive study in order to be entrusted with carrying out this high risk spiritual work. <\/span><\/p>\n

Always be firm and deal with negative spirits strongly, but always with respect. <\/span><\/p>\n
