I am surrounded by the seas.
Oceanic,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nSweeping\nover<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nThrough <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond me.
Beeches,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nNo\nbeaches<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the waves are the same.
White horses gallop<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nThrough\nmy tired mind.
\nI am surrounded by the seas.
\nRushing towards<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blinkered eyes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nIllusion\nof sound<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nAll\naround me.
\nI am surrounded by the seas.
\nGreen and lush<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ever moving<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nNever\nstill<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nNor\ncalm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nNor\ngentle…
\nLeaves for seaweed;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cones for shells;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nBirds\nfor flying fish<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nHumans\nfor sharks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nAvoided.
\nLike\na rock<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nI\nwash up beneath my tree<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nSurrounded\nby the sea,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sighing, crying sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Green and lush Ever moving Never still Nor calm Nor gentle… Leaves for seaweed; Cones for shells; Birds for flying fish Humans for sharks: Avoided.
